Cloud Storage Integrations
Import documents from Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, and Box — without downloading and re-uploading.

Bring your files with you
Most grant teams already have years of proposals, reports, and organizational documents stored in cloud drives. Rather than downloading those files and re-uploading them into Grantable, you can connect your cloud storage and import documents directly. The AI can then reference everything you’ve built up over the years — past proposals, annual reports, board documents — without you reorganizing anything.
You can also import files from cloud storage during onboarding or at any point from the chat input’s attachment menu.
Supported services
| Service | Native formats | How to connect |
|---|---|---|
| Google Drive | Google Docs, Google Sheets (converted on import) | Settings → Integrations → Google Drive |
| OneDrive | Standard file types | Settings → Integrations → OneDrive |
| SharePoint | Standard file types | Settings → Integrations → SharePoint |
| Dropbox | Standard file types | Settings → Integrations → Dropbox |
| Box | Box Notes (converted on import) | Settings → Integrations → Box |
All services support importing PDFs, Word documents (.docx), and Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx) — the same file types you can upload directly.
Connecting a service
- Go to Settings and select the Integrations tab
- Find your cloud storage provider in the list
- Click Connect
- Sign in with your account and authorize Grantable to access your files
Once connected, you can import documents from that service whenever you attach files to a chat message or upload to your workspace.
Privacy and access
Grantable takes a minimal-access approach to your cloud storage:
- We only see what you select. For Google Drive, Grantable uses a file picker that requests access only to files you explicitly choose — it never gains broad access to your entire Drive. Other providers use a similar scoped-consent model wherever supported.
- Disconnect anytime. Remove the connection from Settings → Integrations. Files you’ve already imported stay in your workspace, but the link to your cloud account is severed.
- Your data stays yours. Imported files are copies — changes in Grantable don’t affect the originals in your cloud storage, and vice versa.
Tip: The fastest way to get started is to connect your cloud storage during onboarding and import your 5-10 most important documents — past successful proposals, your annual report, key program descriptions. The AI uses these as reference material for everything it writes.
