JEF General Fund Grants

Organization: Jewish Endowment Foundation of Louisiana

Purpose: Provide funding for Jewish and non-Jewish organizations that significantly benefit the Jewish community.

    Focus Areas

    The Grants Committee is responsive to requests that help:
  • Launch new initiatives
  • Expand successful existing programs
  • Address an emerging critical need

Limited funding is also available for:

  • Jewish youth leadership programs

  • Jewish seniors' needs

  • Women's education and development

  • Music and theater projects
    • Geographic Scope

      Eligibility

    • Organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity
    • Organization must be located in the state of Louisiana
    • Program must align with JEF's mission and purpose

    2. Complete the application form with all required information about your organization and proposed program
    3. Submit the completed application to Jessica Brasseur at jessica@jefno.org

    Application Deadlines

    Applications are reviewed twice a year:

  • Spring Grant Cycle: Submit before March 1

  • Fall Grant Cycle: Submit before September 1
  • Processing Timeline

    Please note that each grant cycle may take up to two months to process. Recipients will not receive notification and funding until:

  • Spring cycle: Early May

  • Fall cycle: Early November
