Overview

The Granum Grant is the Alpena Community College Foundation's externally-facing grant program, open to the public. It is available to local school districts, churches, and federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations to provide opportunity for educational programming, lectures, cultural performances, performing arts, and community-based events within the Granum Theatre at Alpena Community College (Alpena, MI). Grants provide full or partial funding for programming, use of the Granum Theatre and surrounding complex, and technical audio/visual support; marketing costs should be factored into the proposal. Total funds available each year fluctuate; there are no minimum or maximum limits for individual requests, though requests of $5,000 or less are recommended. (The Foundation's other grants - the Jessie C. James Emphasis on Learning Grant, Program Support Grant, and Wilson Endowed Teaching Chair Award - are internal, open only to ACC faculty/staff, and are not included here.)
