STAR Grant Program (Serving The Arts Regionally)

Adams County Arts Council (ACAC) administers the STAR Grant Program, created as a result of a 1994-95 community assessment that determined the need to fund quality arts programs in schools and the community.

Program History: Since 1998, the STAR Grant Program has awarded more than $291,000 and has served more than 291,900 people with a wealth of arts programs.

Program Administration: ACAC's role includes:

• Making applications available to eligible applicants
• Collecting grant applications
• Identifying and recruiting community members to serve as panelists
• Sending award letters and contracts
• Mailing checks to successful applicants
• Collecting final project reports
• Reporting to funders

Application Process

Deadline: Applications must be hand-delivered or postmarked by November 7, 2025 (for 2026 grants)
