PAME Meeting Travel Assistance

The Danny Did Foundation offers travel reimbursement grants of up to $1,500 to people who want to attend the Partners Against Mortality in Epilepsy (PAME) meeting. The 2026 meeting is on Thursday, December 3, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia; a special session for bereaved adults and advocates is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, December 2, with a short welcome reception for all attendees that evening.

The Foundation considers the participation of parents, caregivers, people with epilepsy and healthcare professionals a vital part of the meeting. Grants of up to $1,500 cover travel-related expenses including the PAME conference registration fee; airfare, hotel, car rental or rideshare and gas are reimbursable examples. Food is not reimbursable. This is an adult meeting and childcare is not available.

Requests are filled as they are received, so applying early matters.

Complete the PAME meeting financial assistance application at dannydid.org. The deadline to apply for Danny Did funding is November 4, 2026, or until the Foundation reaches its maximum, and grant requests are filled as they arrive. Those selected are contacted by email and must sign an agreement.

Funding takes the form of reimbursement: applicants make their own travel arrangements and cover costs up front. All labelled, dated receipts must be provided by December 15, 2026 using an expense report the Foundation sends to awardees. Full meeting details are at pameonline.org.
