Overview

The Danny Did Foundation reimburses travel costs for families who want to attend the Epilepsy Education Expo and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland (EADDL). The free Education Expo runs November 16 and 17, 2026 inside the Disneyland Hotel's Exhibit Hall, with over 100 exhibitors and more than 80 presentations covering diagnosis, treatment, surgery, therapies and technologies; Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland follows on November 18, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to closing.

Grants reimburse travel-related expenses up to a maximum of $1,800, including Disneyland tickets. Airfare, hotel, car rental, rideshare or taxi, gas and parking are reimbursable; food and event shirts are not. Hotel reimbursement covers only the nights of November 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2026 — anyone extending their trip covers those nights themselves.

Anyone is welcome to apply, and support is prioritised for families who have not received prior funding.

How to Apply

Complete the EADDL travel financial assistance application at dannydid.org. The person completing and signing it must be the adult living with epilepsy who is seeking assistance, or that person's parent, legal guardian or primary caregiver. Selected applicants are notified by email and must complete and sign an agreement.

Funding takes the form of reimbursement: applicants make their own travel arrangements and cover costs up front. Labelled, dated receipts relating only to EADDL travel must be mailed to the Danny Did office by December 1, 2026, and reimbursement is not expected until December 2026. A confirmation screen appears after a successful submission; no automated confirmation email is sent.
