  • Hotel: Reimbursement covers only nights of 4/24/26, 4/25/26, and 4/26/26; extended trips are applicant's responsibility
  • Applicant Responsibility: Make own travel arrangements and cover all upfront costs
  • Further Instructions: Expense report instructions provided to grant recipients

  • Applicants: Adult living with epilepsy, OR parent/legal guardian or primary caregiver for person with epilepsy
  • Geographic Scope: Anyone welcome to apply; support prioritized for those who have not received prior funding
  • Restrictions: Anyone welcome to apply, but priority given to first-time applicants

How to Apply

Application Process

Current Status: Application is now closed for 2026 EADDW Travel Assistance.

For Selected Grantees:
1. Applicants will be notified by email if selected
2. Further expense report instructions will be provided upon notification
3. Gather all receipts for reimbursable travel expenses
4. Mail all labeled, dated receipts to Danny Did office by May 15, 2026
5. Reimbursement will be issued after EADDW concludes (in May 2026)

Eligible Expenses for Reimbursement:

  • Airfare receipts

  • Hotel receipts (for nights of April 24-26, 2026 only)

  • Car rental/rideshare/taxi receipts

  • Gas and parking receipts

  • Disney/theme park ticket receipts
  • Required Documentation:

  • All receipts must be dated

  • All receipts must be related to EADDW travel only

  • All receipts must be substantiated (original or copy)

  • Food expenses cannot be reimbursed (do not submit receipts)
  • Applicant Requirements:
    1. Complete online application form (when open)
    2. Applicant or legal guardian must sign application
    3. Cover all travel costs upfront
    4. Make own travel arrangements
