Gene Lake Technician Scholarship Grant

The Gene Lake Technician Scholarship, established by the TSHP Research & Education Foundation in 2015, supports students enrolled in technician training programs across Texas. Scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 are awarded based on financial need, academic ability, and career interest. The foundation, dedicated to advancing healthcare through pharmacy education and research, aims to improve health outcomes for Texans and foster the growth of the pharmacy profession.

TSHP Research and Education Foundation
The TSHP R&E Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes for Texans by funding numerous activities that advance healthcare through pharmacy research and education. Today, the Foundation’s managed assets and cash total around $918,000.
TSHP R&E Foundation Scholarships
Scholarships of $500 to $1,500 are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarships from the Foundation are awarded on the basis of financial need, academic ability and career interest.
The Gene Lake Technician Scholarship was established in 2015. The scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled in a technician training program.

Eligibility

Applicants should:
Be enrolled in any technician training program in TexasBe a technician member of TSHPBe a U.S. citizen or a Texas resident with a permanent U.S. residency statusBe in good academic standing in the program in which they are enrolledHave passion and initiative to improve the health of our communities
