Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacy The Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacy (TSHP) is a dynamic professional membership association which serves Texas health-system pharmacy professionals dedicated to the mission, vision, core values, philosophy, soul, spirit, and motto of TSHP. TSHP Research and Education Foundation The TSHP R&E Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes for Texans by funding numerous activities that advance healthcare through pharmacy research and education. The TSHP Research and Education (R&E) Foundation has been advancing health-system pharmacy practice though education, research, and professional development since 1977. Today, the Foundation’s managed assets and cash total around $918,000. TSHP R&E Foundation Scholarships The TSHP Research & Education (R&E) Foundation has been supporting our pharmacy community in Texas since 1977, reminding us of our shared strength in helping one another. Scholarships of $500 to $1,500 are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarships from the Foundation are awarded on the basis of financial need, academic ability and career interest. Eligibility

Applicants should: Be an active member of CTSHP, TSHP and their pharmacy school/college chapter, andBe a fourth year student at a Texas college or school/college of pharmacy with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, andBe active in community service, (e.g. have organized or participated in programs with fellow pharmacy students to do hypertension screening in shopping malls or community centers, or a “brown bag” program, or has given lectures on prescription, OTC, or herbal medications at community centers.), andBe currently working in a health-system pharmacy or have worked in one while attending pharmacy school.
