Overview

Each year, the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) awards grants and fellowships that fund work focused on the treatment, prevention, and cure of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and comorbidities. As a primary goal in the current strategic plan, leading transformational research in psoriatic disease, NPF chooses research projects not only for their potential to yield information that may help treat psoriatic disease, but also to answer basic questions about the underlying disease mechanisms, comorbidities, and public health. Applications undergo a rigorous scientific peer review by a panel of experts. Translational Research Grants Translational Research Grants fund research initiatives that focus on the rapid translation of basic scientific discoveries into clinical applications with a clear benefit for patients with psoriatic disease. Budget and Project Period Applicants may request up to $100,000 (direct cost only) per year. The total project period for the application submitted is two years beginning on August 1st.
