Since 1964, we have served the citizens of Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Baker, Clay, and Putnam counties through a range of charitable and civic activities, while helping individual donors achieve their philanthropic goals. We believe in Giving Back. Giving Forward. Overview The Community Foundation accepts grant applications for a variety of funding opportunities. Each category or focus has different guidelines and timelines. We also have a limited number of scholarships to help current and future students to pursue undergraduate and graduate education, professional development and other educational enrichment opportunities. Art Ventures - Small Arts Organizations These grants are open to small and mid-size arts and cultural organizations in Northeast Florida. The purpose of this funding is for organizational capacity-building and program development.

Eligibility

Small to mid-sized organization with current 501(c)(3) status (or a formal agreement with a fiscal sponsor) and a minimum two-year work history.The mission of the organization must be primarily focused on arts and culture.The organization must be based in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam or St. Johns County.Additional funding is available through the Delores Barr Weaver Black Arts Organizations Fund for Black-led/Black-centered organizations that meet one or more of the following criteria. More than 50% of Black staff are in leadership positions.More than 50% of the Board of Directors identify as Black.The mission statement/programs aim to predominantly serve Black communities.
