Mission Effecting Change for Good In partnership with our donors, the Collier Community Foundation supports local nonprofits to meet community needs and serves as a civic leader. We partner with multiple stakeholders and our role differs for each. Background At the Intersection of Giving and Action Created in 1985 as the Community Foundation of Collier County, we are a tax-exempt, public charitable foundation. Today, as the Collier Community Foundation, the true value of our work continues to extend deep into the community. In partnership with our donors, grant recipients, and local leaders, we respond to the needs of the community and seed innovation. Program Grants The Collier Community Foundation™ provides program grant funding to nonprofits for programs that demonstrate measurable results in addressing community needs. Grant dollars are invested in the following areas: Arts/Culture Environment Education or Employment Healthcare or Mental Health Human Services A nonprofit may apply for the following grants in this May grant cycle: Either 1 Program grant or 1 Operating Support grant (but not both) 1 Capacity grant (if your budget is under $3M) Type of Support: New programs, ongoing programs, or program expansions Funding may be requested for new programs, ongoing programs, or program expansions.
