CFCC: Capacity Grants for Small Non-profits

The Collier Community Foundation offers Capacity Grants aimed at small nonprofits with budgets under $3M in Collier County, FL. These grants support organizations in enhancing their operational effectiveness through essential capacity-building activities, such as strategic planning, board development, and improving financial management. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt nonprofits that have been operational for at least one year. This funding cycle allows for one grant application per organization, focusing on their unique contributions to community needs.

NOTE: A nonprofit may apply for the following grants in this May grant cycle:
1 Food & Nutrition Security grant (if you provide food and nutrition supports)Either 1 Program grant or 1 Operating Support grant (but not both)1 Capacity grant (if your budget is under $3M)
The Collier Community Foundation™ provides Capacity grant funding to ensure that nonprofits with operating budgets of less than $3M have the tools needed to operate using best practices.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a tax-exempt nonprofit organization serving Collier County, FL residents AND applicant must be in operation and provide services for one full fiscal year and have filed a nonprofit tax return before applying for grantsApplicant must meet the grant guideline criteriaApplications must be relevant to Collier CountyApplicants must meet submission deadlinesApplicants must agree to the Community Foundation’s Statement of Diversity.Applicants must agree to report back to the Community Foundation on relevant outcomes of funding.
