Overview

Supporting Neighborhoods Grants Local leadership and grassroots efforts have long shaped Northeast Florida’s diverse communities and rich cultural tapestry. Since our earliest days, The Community Foundation has provided partnership and funding to support organizations that are lifting up our local neighborhoods. These grants are available to nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening neighborhood leadership, improving access to affordable housing, and/or equitably expanding economic opportunity for marginalized residents of Northeast Florida. Eligibility:Nonprofit organizations with a current 501(3)(c), and a 2-year work historyGrants may be made to faith-based organizations for the non-religious programs offered to the broader community. Annual operating budget of $100,000 or above Located in and serving at least one of these counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns

We are not able to fund:Athletic associations Fundraising event sponsorshipsPrograms promoting religious beliefsSchools (public, private and charter) and school-based organizations (PTAs, boosters, etc) Requests outside our regionMust be in: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam or St. Johns counties
