Overview
Utah Division of Water Quality grant program to reduce nonpoint sources of water pollution through voluntary and incentive-based best management practices. Supports smaller scale projects, educational workshops and initiatives, technical assistance, on-the-ground implementation, hardship-based septic replacement, and AFO waste management. Eligible projects include agricultural improvements (BMPs), irrigation modernization, livestock management, stream/riparian/wetland restoration, urban stormwater and green infrastructure, planning, monitoring, technical support, and septic system improvements. Priority given to projects aligned with TMDLs or watershed-based plans, using innovative/nature-based solutions, promoting voluntary pollution reduction, and supporting riparian and rangeland health.
