Overview
U.S. EPA Clean Water Act Section 319(h) grants administered by Utah Division of Water Quality supporting watershed-based initiatives. Supports watershed plans, pilot projects, technical assistance, and information exchange. Requires 40% mandatory nonfederal cost-share.
Eligibility: Projects must implement a 9-Element Watershed-Based Plan that is accepted by the Utah Division of Water Quality. Projects should align with strategic goals including voluntary pollution reduction, innovative/nature-based solutions, riparian health, rangeland health, capacity building, and public participation.
Priority Areas: Projects within nonpoint source priority areas, benefiting impaired waters, and implementing watershed plans or TMDLs receive additional scoring points.
