Second Chance College Scholarship Grant

The Second Chance College Scholarship, offered by the R.O.S.E. Foundation, provides financial support to adult learners aged 21 and older in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. This scholarship aids those currently enrolled in postsecondary education, including four-year colleges and vocational schools, who have completed at least one semester. Its goal is to empower individuals to pursue their academic and career ambitions, fostering economic security and self-sufficiency.

R.O.S.E. Foundation
The R.O.S.E. Foundation (Recognizing Opportunities for Service and Education) is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for deserving women and their families. Its initiatives emphasize education, the arts, economic awareness, family dynamics, and emotional resilience, helping women strengthen coping skills and long-term stability. The Foundation’s charitable and educational efforts are supported and endorsed by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Beta Omega Chapter, reflecting a commitment to service, sisterhood, and community uplift.
The Second Chance College Scholarship supports adult students (age 21 or older) who reside in and attend school in Bucks or Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution—including a four-year college, community college, or technical/vocational school—and have completed at least one semester. The scholarship is designed to provide renewed educational opportunities for adult learners continuing or returning to higher education to advance their academic and career goals.

Eligibility

Students eligible for this award must be at least 21 years of ageCurrently enrolled in a postsecondary institution, i.e., a four-year college, community college or technical/vocational school Completed at least one semester while maintaining a minimum 2.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
