R.O.S.E. Foundation The R.O.S.E. Foundation (Recognizing Opportunities for Service and Education) is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for deserving women and their families. Established in 2002, the Foundation focuses on empowering women in transition to achieve economic security and self-sufficiency through programs that build self-esteem, financial literacy, health awareness, and life skills. Its initiatives emphasize education, the arts, economic awareness, family dynamics, and emotional resilience, helping women strengthen coping skills and long-term stability. The Foundation’s charitable and educational efforts are supported and endorsed by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Beta Omega Chapter, reflecting a commitment to service, sisterhood, and community uplift. Barbara E. Reed Scholarship The Barbara E. Reed Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in Fall 2026. Eligible applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) and demonstrate financial need based on Federal Income Guidelines. Applicants must reside in and attend school in Bucks or Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. The scholarship is designed to expand access to higher education at HBCUs for students facing financial challenges.
