SCC Sonoma Grants

Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) is committed to improving the lives of children in Sonoma County by providing essential support through grants to local nonprofit organizations. With a focus on vulnerable children facing challenges such as homelessness and food insecurity, SCC has distributed $180,000 in 2024 alone. By fostering community partnerships, SCC empowers the next generation, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed, regardless of their circumstances.

Speedway Children's Charities
Since 1982, we’ve distributed over $72 million in grants—$4 million in 2024 alone—ensuring that children in need have the support, care, and opportunities to build brighter futures.
Through strategic funding and community partnerships, we focus on three key areas: providing critical support for vulnerable children facing homelessness, food insecurity, and exploitation; ensuring access to essential medical care, including treatment, therapy, and disability services; and empowering the next generation through education, literacy, and enrichment programs.
Through our various events and activities, we strive to raise funds and provide grants to nonprofit children's organizations in the Sonoma County community. In 2024, SCC Sonoma distributed $180,000 to local organizations.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for funding from the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities if you are an existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity whose primary focus is children in the Sonoma County area.Eligible children's charities located in and providing services to children in Sonoma County are invited to submit proposals.

Ineligibility

SCC does not fund capital projects or funding for operation costs (including salaries for any position).
