SCC Nashville Grant Program

The SCC Nashville Grant Program, managed by Speedway Children's Charities, supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children in middle Tennessee. With over $80,000 distributed in 2024, the program prioritizes funding for organizations addressing homelessness, education, and critical health needs. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits focused on children's welfare. The grant process includes a pre-proposal and an invitation-only full proposal, culminating in a celebration at the Annual Night of Joy.

NOTE:
Pre-Proposal - This initial application is due at this deadline.Full Proposal - Invite Only - The second application will be due at this deadline. If all of the documentation is submitted on time, than a SCC Trustee will visit your nonprofit in person to conduct a site visit and a thorough interview of your organization.Each approved organization will be contacted with an invite to our Annual Night of Joy Grant Ceremony in December. Each approved organization is required to attend the celebration. You must send an organization representative to the Night of Joy to receive funding.
Through our various events and activities, we strive to raise funds and provide grants to nonprofit children's organizations in middle Tennessee. In 2024, SCC Nashville distributed over $80,000 to local organizations.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for funding from the Nashville Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities if you are an existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity whose primary focus is children in middle Tennessee.

Ineligibility

SCC does not typically fund capital projects or funding for operation costs (including salaries for any position).
