Speedway Children's Charities

SCC is a driving force for change, partnering with local organizations to meet the most pressing needs of children in communities across the country. Since 1982, we’ve distributed over $72 million in grants—$4 million in 2024 alone—ensuring that children in need have the support, care, and opportunities to build brighter futures.

Speedway Children's Charities is dedicated to helping children. Through a variety of events and fundraisers held throughout the year, each SCC chapter raises funds to be distributed in their local communities. These funds are distributed in the form of one-time grants among worthy non-profit organizations that address the needs of children.

SCC Texas Grant Program

Through our various events and activities, we strive to raise funds and provide grants to nonprofit children's organizations in the North Texas community. In 2024, SCC Texas distributed over $203,000 to local organizations.

Below are the pillars we focus on during the grant process:

• Critical: victims of sex trafficking, homeless, orphans, foster population, food security
• Medical: illness, dental, disability, therapy
• Educational: tutoring, literacy, after school programs

Eligibility

• Organization must serve children in Collin, Dallas, Denton, or Tarrant counties.

Ineligibility

• SCC does not fund capital projects or funding for operation costs or salaries.
