Ohio Living Lifelong Learning Fund Grant

The Ohio Living Lifelong Learning Fund, created by the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, supports educational programs for seniors in Mahoning County. Grants range from $500 to $1,500, aimed at enriching the lives of senior residents through learning opportunities. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded over $60 million to various local charitable initiatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving community well-being and lifelong education.

The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley
In 1999, five area trust companies and community partners created The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley (CFMV) as a 501(c)(3) public charity to address charitable and philanthropic needs across Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.
CFMV has helped individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits create more than 250 charitable funds to benefit the Mahoning Valley, resulting in more than $60 million awarded to hundreds of local charitable and educational institutions since 2000. We identify and support specific needs in the community; manage funds on behalf of numerous donors; help donors and fundholders find local causes that match their interests; and encourage and facilitate the pooling of resources between diverse groups in the community.
The Ohio Living Lifelong Learning Fund supports projects that provide seniors in Mahoning County with education programs and learning opportunities. Grant awards range between $500 and $1,500.

Eligibility

We make grants to organizations that are deemed not-for-profit by the IRS, such as 501(c)3s, religious organizations, schools and government entities. If you’re not registered with the IRS, you may apply through a fiscal sponsor.
