Purpose: Assists young female cancer patients with quality of life needs during cancer treatment.

Geographic Scope: Rhode Island

Eligibility:

• Female patients ages 18-25
• Currently undergoing cancer treatment

What the Fund Supports:

• Therapeutic healing items such as wigs, laptops, recliners, and other comfort items to support recovery during treatment

Background:
The fund was established in memory of Isabella Dora Corcelli, a young woman who battled cancer for 4 years, enduring chemotherapy infusions, major surgeries, and other challenges. Her family created this fund to provide sunshine and support to other young female cancer patients, similar to the gifts that helped Isabella during her treatment.
