Chartercare Emerging Health Care Needs Grant

The Chartercare Emerging Health Care Needs Grant, offered by the Chartercare Foundation, supports innovative health and wellness programs in Rhode Island. With funding up to $50,000, the grant aims to address unmet health care needs, focusing on underserved populations and critical issues such as substance abuse and mental health. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing. This initiative seeks to catalyze impactful solutions that enhance community health and well-being.

Our grants benefit health and wellness programs throughout Rhode Island.
Applications are being accepted for program grants to address critical needs within the health care community. These programs address a previously unmet need, benefit a significant population, and transcend geographic, ethnic and cultural barriers. The Foundation is looking for innovative pilot programs or creative expansion/application of proven programs that will change or save lives.
Funding is available up to $50,000. Some areas may include, but are not limited to,
Substance or sexual abuse, Lead abatement, Basic health needs for underserved populations; Mental health for older adults;Ongoing patient issues due to the pandemic, etc.
Additional opportunities for emerging health care needs grants may be posted at a later date.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a 501©3 Rhode Island nonprofit in good financial standing; grants will be awarded to organizations, not individuals.

Ineligibility

Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
