Chartercare Senior Wellness & Safety Grant

The Chartercare Senior Wellness & Safety Grant supports health and wellness programs for the elderly in Rhode Island. It emphasizes structured quality of life initiatives, safety training, and community engagement. Applicants must be Rhode Island 501(c)(3) organizations, focusing on underserved populations. Proposals should demonstrate a clear scope, measurable outcomes, and collaborative efforts with other nonprofits. Preference is given to new initiatives addressing significant community needs, ensuring broad geographic representation and client reach.

Our grants benefit health and wellness programs throughout Rhode Island.
Applications for program grants to provide structured quality of life programs (cultural, music, & the arts) as well as services for elderly populations, including increased awareness and training regarding proper safety measures, tips, and tools. Programs should encourage participation by health care professionals as well as family members with special emphasis on population gaps in underserved communities.
Proposals must address the following:
the scope of the program; number of patients it will help, how access to the program will be achieved; how patient progress will be monitored and tracked; and how outcomes will be measured.

Eligibility

Grants are awarded to Rhode Island 501(c)3 organizations focusing on health and wellness for RI residents.Applicants must be a 501©3 Rhode Island nonprofit in good financial standing; grants will be awarded to organizations, not individuals. We encourage agencies to collaborate with other nonprofits in meeting their goals;we prefer not to fund salary and benefits as budget relief.

Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
