Overview:
The Sanger Education Foundation awards grants for instructional initiatives that go above and beyond what the district can provide in normal everyday learning environments. These grants support innovative and creative supplemental instructional programs for K-12 grades available to all Sanger ISD campuses.

Eligible Activities

Instructional initiatives may include, but are not limited to:
• Math and science labs
• Technology
• Fine arts
• Career and technology

• Projects that align with Sanger Independent School District's Strategic Plan
• Initiatives that directly affect student learning
• Programs that complement the District's mission and Campus Improvement Plan

Eligibility

• Open to district staff and campuses
• For K-12 grade students
• Part of Sanger ISD only

Award Timeline

• Grants are awarded annually
• Awards presented at End of School Awards Ceremony
• Funding depends on available funds

Background

Founded in 2005, the foundation awarded its first Teacher Instructional grant in March 2006 (made possible by CoServ Charitable Foundation). The foundation has awarded both Teacher Instructional Initiatives and District Initiative grants every year since.
