Impact100 Detroit provides high-impact grants of up to $100,000 to support local nonprofits in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties. About Our Grants At Impact100 Metro Detroit we provide high-impact grants that support local nonprofits in reaching underserved populations, and meeting unmet needs in our community. Through our grant-making process we familiarize ourselves with the programs, services, and communities that our nonprofits serve; we invest not only financially, but also by becoming a partner to them. In return our partners are able to think bigger and more strategically about the work they do and the impact they have. Focus Areas We provide nonprofit organizations with grants of up to $100,000 across five broad Focus Areas: Arts & CultureProjects that foster greater exposure to or participation in the arts and culture, expand arts education, or use art as a medium for creative expression.EducationProjects that expand or improve learning opportunities, primarily for children,  focused on literacy, tutoring, mentoring, GED,  or college prep.Family & Individual SupportProjects that support the lives of individuals and families, focusing on housing, transportation, living wage, food insecurity, job skills training or other basic needs.Health & WellnessProjects that improve physical and/or mental health, foster healthy living habits or life skills programs that promote independent living.Revitalization, Recreation & EnvironmentProjects that revitalize or create public spaces for the community, support environmental awareness and/or promote a positive and sustainable relationship between people and their environment; or promote the welfare of animals in our communities.

Organization Eligibility:Be classified as a “Public Charity” with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (individual or private foundations are not eligible)Located in Wayne, Oakland or Macomb CountyHave at least three full fiscal years of financial statements (audited preferred), and at least three years of completed tax filingsNot be a recipient of an Impact100 Metro Detroit project grant ($100,000) in the past three grant cyclesProject EligibilityFit within one of the following focus areas: Arts & CultureEducationIndividual & Family SupportHealth & Wellness and RevitalizationRecreation & EnvironmentServe residents of and expend funds primarily in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb CountyBe a new program, the expansion of an existing program, or a new or expanded collaborationHave a total project budget of at least $100,000.Expend the funds within 18 months of being awarded

Ineligibility

Grants will not be provided for:Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.Activities that are religious or political in nature.Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns.Individuals or private foundations.
