HRCEF Scholarships

The Hood River County Education Foundation manages over 55 scholarship funds providing awards to graduating Hood River Valley High School (HRVHS) seniors and current college students.

Geographic Scope: Hood River Valley High School graduates and continuing college students; Hood River County, Oregon area

Award Information:

• Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 each year
• Over the past 25+ years: over $2.6 million awarded to more than 1,000 HRV graduates
• Over 55 scholarship funds managed
• Each scholarship has its own criteria reflecting donor values and interests

Eligible Applicants:

• HRVHS graduating seniors
• HRVHS graduates continuing education in college

Supported Education Levels:

• Four-year universities
• Community colleges
• Vocational/trade programs

Funding Sources: Largely supported by local families, organizations, and businesses

High School Scholarships

• Available to HRVHS graduating seniors
• Various criteria based on individual scholarship fund requirements

College Scholarships

• Available to HRVHS graduates continuing post-secondary education
