HRCEF Scholarships

Overview: The Hood River County Education Foundation manages over 55 scholarship funds providing awards to graduating Hood River Valley High School (HRVHS) seniors and current college students.

Status: Active and ongoing

Geographic Scope: Hood River Valley High School graduates and continuing college students; Hood River County, Oregon area

Award Information:

Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 each year

Over the past 25+ years: over $2.6 million awarded to more than 1,000 HRV graduates

Over 55 scholarship funds managed

Each scholarship has its own criteria reflecting donor values and interests

Eligible Applicants:

HRVHS graduating seniors

HRVHS graduates continuing education in college

Supported Education Levels:

Four-year universities

Community colleges

Vocational/trade programs

Funding Sources: Largely supported by local families, organizations, and businesses

High School Scholarships
