Health Equity Grants For Addressing Social Determinates of Health (SDOH)
The DAISY Foundation’s Health Equity Grants support nurse-led research and evidence-based practice projects that address the social determinants of health (SDoH)—such as economic instability, neighborhood or housing risks, low health literacy, and racial or social disparities—to improve outcomes for disadvantaged communities. Funding supports direct project-related expenses (not institutional overhead, investigator salary or equipment like laptops) and requires interim and final reports along with a commitment to disseminate findings.

Eligibility

Eligible projects must be RN-led (though interdisciplinary teams are allowed), aligned with the community needs of the applicant’s setting, and designed to be transferable to other institutions. Applicants must propose work that is ready to launch (with IRB approval or exemption) and plan for completion within one year.
