Daisy Foundation Founded in 1999 in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, the DAISY Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the extraordinary compassion and skill of nurses worldwide. Through its flagship DAISY Award® for Extraordinary Nurses, the Foundation partners with healthcare institutions and nursing schools to celebrate nurses, faculty, and students who demonstrate exceptional care and empathy.
