The programs included below are focused on diverse populations and are geared towards encouraging under-represented students to consider healthcare career pathways. Health Career Connection Internship (full time, 10-week summer internship) Description Health Career Connections provides opportunity and support to people of all backgrounds and has priority on college students from backgrounds underrepresented in the health professions, first-generation college students, and people from low-income backgrounds and underserved communities. The program inspires and empowers interns and alumni with real world exposure, experience, mentoring, and networking.

Eligibility

Undergraduate student or recent college graduate Background in public health disciplines (includes but not limited to: Nutrition, Health Management, Health education, Health policy and advocacy, Community Health) Demonstrated interest and commitment to healthcare, public health, primary care, behavioral health, and/or life science careers Ability to work 10 consecutive weeks, full time (40 hours per week) primarily during typical business hours, during the internship Leadership and initiative (experience in student organizations, clubs, etc.).
