Master of Public Health Summer Practicum Grant

The Master of Public Health Summer Practicum offers UC Berkeley students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health. Participants engage in a 10-week, full-time internship, working closely with departments focused on community health, equity, and improvement. This program not only provides a stipend but also facilitates career exploration in healthcare for under-represented students, promoting diversity in the field. Ideal candidates are Master's students in good standing, with the ability to travel to various locations in Contra Costa County.

Master of Public Health Summer Practicum:

• Description
• Summer Practicum opportunities are available to Master of Public Health Students from UC Berkeley
• Students are linked with a department within the sphere of public health to include Community Health Improvement, Belonging and Equity or other related field
• Students are paid a stipend and complete a 10-week, full-time summer internship, equivalent to 400 hours of practicum experience.

Eligibility

Students must be a Master's student in good standing attending UC Berkeley School of Public Health
Students must be available to travel to Contra Costa County, various locations
