Growth Opportunities (GO MKE)

Overview: Growth Opportunities (GO MKE) provides services to youth and young adults aged 15-18 who are at high risk of involvement in violence. The program builds long-term career success while developing strategies that promote safety and well-being within the community.

Target Population:

  • Current or previously juvenile justice-involved individuals

  • High school dropouts without prior juvenile justice involvement

  • Individuals referred from juvenile justice system or mandatory violence prevention partners

  • Youth aged 15-18 at high risk of involvement in violence
  • Services Include:

  • Occupational education and training in in-demand industries (construction, technology, public service)

  • Leadership development

  • Mentorship

  • Work experience

  • Income opportunities

  • Post-work experience placement into unsubsidized employment and/or education

  • Supportive services
