Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. Our scholarship program is simple. You are able to apply once for all foundation scholarships you may be eligible for. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. Fugazzotto Scholarship Fund for Visual Arts Students The joy of making has motivated Barbara Fugazzotto throughout her life and her 25-year art teaching career at Grand Haven Junior High. She shared with young people the challenges, thrills, and satisfaction that come with creating in the visual arts. In Barbara's words: "in our world of high technology, there is an especially vital role for creating visual art. Working with paint, paper, clay, and other media nurtures many of the recesses of our minds, hearts, and spirits that other activities can't reach." This scholarship enables a Tri-Cities resident studying to be a teacher of art or planning to have a career in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, or graphic design to nurture their creative spirit and ind their place in the progression of humanity that have shared creative joy.Eligibility
