Purpose: Honors the legacy of Dr. Charles "Charlie" Thornton II, founder of the ACE Mentor Program of America.
Eligibility: Deserving ACE alumni who share Charlie's passion for shaping the built environment.
About the Scholarship: Scholarships are awarded to ACE alumni pursuing careers in architecture, engineering, and construction. Charlie Thornton was a world-renowned structural engineer, founder of Thornton Tomasetti, and established ACE Mentor in 1994. He was the son of a bricklayer who earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from NYU.
