Field of Interest & Donor Advised Funds Grant

The Chester County Community Foundation offers funding through its Field of Interest and Donor Advised Funds, supporting nonprofits in various sectors such as arts, education, and health. Grants range from $500 to $7,500, with proposals accepted year-round. Eligibility requires nonprofits to be based in Chester County and have budgets of $500,000 or less. The foundation aims to enhance the effectiveness of local organizations through capacity-building initiatives.

Proposals received any time throughout the year are eligible for funding consideration from the Foundation’s Field of Interest Funds & Donor Advised Funds. Grant awards typically range from $500 - $7,500. Grant decisions are made intermittently throughout the year, as Fund Advisors desire. Proposals are electronically shared with Fund Advisors to assist them in making grant decisions.
Nonprofits should be specific about their mission, goals, and measurable outcomes. Grants may be made to charitable nonprofits working in all fields of interest including:

• arts, culture and humanities;education;community improvement;environment;religion;health; andhuman services.
• General operating grants are encouraged.

Eligibility

For eligibility in this grant program, nonprofits must be located in & serve Chester County.
Nonprofit budgets must be $500,000 or less.
The goal of capacity-building grants is to strengthen the effectiveness of NPOs serving the region, see page 4 for more details on the areas including:

• Mission, Vision & Strategy
• Governance & Leadership
• Partnerships & Collaborations
• Operations & Technology
• Fundraising, Development & Marketing
• Proposals submitted between July 1 - Sept. 11 are eligible for consideration.
• Grant awards typically range from $500-$5,000, with monies distributed by February.

Ineligibility

Applicants cannot be individuals.
