Fund for ChesCo Capacity Building Grants

The Fund for ChesCo Capacity Building Grants, provided by the Chester County Community Foundation, aims to enhance the operational effectiveness of nonprofits in Chester County. With an annual grant budget exceeding $5 million, this initiative supports organizations that are 501(c)(3) certified and have budgets under $500,000. Key focus areas include governance, partnerships, and fundraising strategies, ensuring that local nonprofits can better serve their communities.

The Chester County Community Foundation connects people who care with the causes that matter, so their philanthropy makes a difference now & forever. We are a collection of Field of Interest & Donor Advised Funds with $5M + granted annually to nonprofits in Chester County & beyond.
The goal of capacity building grants is to strengthen the effectiveness of NPO’s serving the region, see page 4 for more details on the areas including:

Eligibility

All grant applicants must be charitable, tax exempt organizations with 501(c) (3) certification.Nonprofits must be located in and serve Chester County to receive a grant from this special initiative. Nonprofits budgets must be $500,000 or less.
