1. Review guidelines at micf.org/grants
2. Consult with MICF staff - The office is available for consultations to answer questions and provide guidance
3. Complete the application including:
- Description of what grant funds will be used for
- Amount of funding requested
- Explanation of why the project is important to Mackinac Island
- Identification of target audience and who will be served
- Evidence supporting project need (nonprofit's needs assessment, strategic plan, etc.)
- Overall goal for the project
- Project timeline
- Full project budget
