Program Description:
ABH | The Foundation awards grants to organizations advancing health equity and addressing public health needs in Minnesota. The foundation holds an annual grant-making meeting to review and award grants.

Focus Areas

Grants have been awarded to organizations in the following areas:
• Dental health services (oral health, preventive care, cessation education)
• Pediatric health (medical assessment and management, crisis care)
• Mental health services (provider directories, training modules)
• Community health clinics (student-run clinics, operational support)
• Substance use disorder prevention (OUD and chronic pain education)
• Medication access (affordable medications, pharmaceutical waste reduction)
• Tobacco cessation (youth education, culturally-tailored materials)

Eligible Organizations

Non-profit organizations serving under-resourced and under-served populations in Minnesota, including:
• Community health centers
• Dental clinics
• Mental health organizations
• Pediatric health services
• Crisis services
• Substance use prevention organizations
