Emile H. Mathis II Scholarship Fund The Emile H. Mathis II Scholarship Fund recognizes the life and career of University of Wisconsin-Superior alum Emile Mathis and supports the education of future generations of UWS artists. The scholarship is available to all who will be or are degree-seeking students in the Visual Arts Department at UWS. Emile Mathis was a UWS graduate who opened the Mathis Gallery and Frame Shop in Racine, Wisconsin. He developed a talent for collecting unique prints, from Rembrandt to Whistler. Funds generated by this collection helped create this scholarship. Award Range $2,500 a year, up to 4 years ($10,000 total)Eligibility
