The fund encourages co-sponsorship or co-funding of projects, such as by corporations, regional foundations, individuals and/or organizations. Examples The following are representative but not exclusive examples of projects: Educational programs that emphasize environmental, historical and cultural awareness Projects and/or programs directly relating to La Pointe School students, preschool students and summer families’ children Projects and/or programs that enhance access to health care and promote a healthy lifestyle for all Madeline Island residents Training and equipment to provide for safety and well-being Education and educational materials Programs and/or projects that enhance Madeline Island residents’ cultural life through visual arts, music and/or history
