LaBounty Family Fund Grant

The LaBounty Family Fund supports projects aimed at economic development in the Two Harbors area. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or have a qualified fiscal sponsor and serve the local community. The fund prioritizes initiatives that directly benefit the public, including business assistance, public land improvements, and social welfare projects. However, funding is not available for endowments, political activities, or individual requests, ensuring resources are directed towards community-enhancing efforts.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for funding, an organization must:Be classified as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or classified as an organization under Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code or have a fiscal sponsor classified as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or an organization under Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code Be located in or provide services to residents of the Two Harbors Area Fund’s primary service area, defined as the boundaries of the Two Harbors High School District. Grants to promote economic development may be awarded without regard to geographic area if they are determined to have a beneficial economic impact on the Two Harbors area.
