Community Impact Fund

Geographic Scope: Cleveland, Western Cuyahoga County, and Lorain County, Ohio

Overview:
The Community Impact Fund unites donors to tackle critical issues like homelessness and food insecurity. This is a donor-directed giving vehicle where contributions are pooled to support nonprofits receiving Community West grants each quarter. 100% of donations go to the mission.

Mission Areas Supported:

• Shelter for the unhoused
• Food insecurity, hunger, and thirst prevention
• Refugee and immigrant support
• Physical, mental health, and addiction recovery programs
• Reintegration services for formerly incarcerated individuals

Impact (2024):

• $748K distributed from Community Impact Fund
• Supported 100+ nonprofit organizations

Giving Process

This is a donor giving vehicle, not a traditional grant program for nonprofits.

For Individual Donors:

1. Visit communitywestfoundation.org/community-impact-fund/
2. Select "Donate Now"
3. Make a one-time or recurring donation
4. Choose funding allocation or select "Area of Greatest Need"

For Current Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Holders:

1. Email Connect@cwfc.org to discuss options
2. Complete DAF grant request form (available on website)
3. Review Guidelines and Procedures for Donor Advised Funds before submitting
