About CFHC Community Foundation of Henderson County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public charity, governed by a volunteer board of directors, that has been assisting donors fulfill their philanthropic dreams since 1982. Our Mission Helping people who care make lasting contributions to causes that matter. Our Vision Community Foundation of Henderson County is a highly visible, philanthropic leader directed by an engaged and committed board, staffed by qualified employees, empowering donors at all levels to invest in professionally managed charitable funds that address community needs. Perry N. Rudnick Grants Established as a private foundation in 2001, the Perry N. Rudnick Endowment became a component fund of Community Foundation of Henderson County three years later in 2004. The Community Foundation invested $6.2 million and each year a portion of the income is used to award grants. Since 2004, the Perry N. Rudnick Endowment has awarded more than 400 grants to over 125 distinct organizations totaling more than $4.3 million. Demonstrating the power of endowment, the Perry N. Grants are ordinarily made for one year only.

Ineligibility

Grants are not for operating expenses.Perry N. Rudnick grant funds will not be used for:grants to individuals (including scholarships)organizations which have not been determined to be tax-exempt as described in Section 509 (a)(1) and 170B (1)(a) of the Internal Revenue Codeaugmenting of endowmentsoperating expenses (including staffing)
