CFHC: Fletcher Community Grants

The CFHC: Fletcher Community Grants, managed by the Community Foundation of Henderson County, supports cultural, educational, historic, and civic enrichment in Fletcher. Established in 1990, these grants are intended for specific projects that foster collaboration among nonprofits, enhancing community well-being. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, while grants are not available for ongoing support or individual scholarships. The fund encourages proposals that demonstrate broad community impact and sustainability.

NOTE: A conversation with the Program Officer prior to application is encouraged, especially for new candidates.
Grants are recommended by an advisory committee of Fletcher residents.

Eligibility

Grants are generally considered for specific projects.Community Foundation of Henderson County provides grant support to help 501(c)(3) nonprofits fulfill their mission and provide programs and services that help meet the needs of our community.It is the intent of all Community Foundation of Henderson County grantmaking to fund projects that promote cooperation and collaboration among organizations without duplication of services.

Ineligibility

Grants are not for ongoing organizational support.The Fletcher Community Fund grants will not be used for:grants to individuals other than academic scholarshipsorganizations which have not been determined to be tax-exempt as described in Section 509 (a)(1) and 170B (1)(a) of the Internal Revenue Codeaugmenting of endowments
