Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation- Unrestricted Funds Grant

The Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation offers unrestricted funds to support various projects aimed at enhancing the community's welfare. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) charities that serve Blair County and meet specific criteria, such as promoting education, arts, or health services. This grant process encourages impactful proposals, ensuring that resources are allocated to initiatives that genuinely benefit the region. Applications are accepted annually, with a focus on sustainable community development.

The Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation distributes a wide range of grants with the goal of bettering the region for everyone who lives here. We care deeply about our region and, through these grants, we hope to enable others who care just as much to make an impact of their own.
Each year, we accept project proposals from interested organizations to apply for funding via our competitive grants process.
Criteria
The organization must meet one of the following criteria:
To promote scientific research for the advancement of knowledge. To support art, music and culture of all kinds.
To provide scholarships or otherwise assist deserving persons in obtaining an education.
To assist the improvement of living and working conditions for the health and welfare of the community.
To provide facilities for public recreation.
To provide funds to assist in the delivery of medical services.

Eligibility

Only 501(c)(3) organizations or organizations that qualify for a deductible contribution using IRS rules are eligible.The charity must be a qualified organization that meets the 50% limit organization rules.The organization must be located in or serve Blair County.
No grant applications will be accepted after the published deadline(s).
To conserve limited resources, an organization can only apply for one grant in a twelve (12) month period.

Ineligibility

The Community Foundation does not make grants to individuals.
