CPCF Competitive Grants (Unrestricted Funds)

The Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation distributes competitive grants to better the Blair County (PA) region. Each year it accepts project proposals from organizations for funding via a competitive grants process. Grants from unrestricted funds typically range $500–$2,500. Eligible purposes: scientific research, art/music/culture, scholarships for deserving persons, improving living/working conditions for community health & welfare, public recreation facilities, and delivery of medical services.

Only 501(c)(3) organizations (or orgs qualifying for a deductible contribution meeting the 50%-limit rules) located in or serving Blair County are eligible; the Endowment does not make grants to individuals; an organization can apply for only one grant per 12-month period. Applications must be received at the CPCF office by 4:00 p.m. on the final business day in April (not a postmark) — the 2026 cycle closed 2026-04-30; recurs annually.
