Overview

CAEF Power of Centennial Grants

Overview: Providing funding for educational programs that supplement and enhance experiences within the Centennial School District.

Geographic Scope: Centennial School District, Circle Pines, MN

Eligibility:

  • Individuals or groups applying to receive funding must provide benefit to the Centennial School District Community

  • Requests consistent with CAEF's mission and focus areas will be considered

  • Grant applications must have principal/supervisor approval

  • Programs and activities should supplement and enhance experiences, not replace what is or should be provided by the District as part of normal budgeting
  • Focus Areas:

  • Educational programs that supplement and enhance district experiences

  • Examples from recent grants include: STEM education, robotics, reading engagement, backpack programs, arts programs, technology tools
  • What CAEF Does NOT Support:

  • Transportation

  • Food

  • Salaries

  • Capital asset purchases

  • Clothing
  • Grant Recipient Agreement:

  • Funds must be used within 12 months of award

  • Recipients must provide a completed Post-Grant Summary Report to the Board of Directors at conclusion of activity or project

  • Funds must be returned to CAEF if activities are not completed

  • Publications/communications related to funded project must list CAEF as sponsoring organization

  • Recipients must agree that CAEF can communicate or publicize the grantee, grant purposes, and intended benefits

  • If requested, grantee must present to CAEF Board

    Application Process

    1. Application Opens: September 30th, 2025
    2. Obtain Approval: Secure principal/supervisor approval before applying
    3. Submit Application: Complete CAEF Grant Application form
    4. Review Process: Grant Review Committee reviews, evaluates, and recommends grants to CAEF Board
    5. Notification: Grant applicants will be notified by email regarding status of request
