Andras Viski Piano Scholarship

Award Amount: $500 - $2,000 per year

Focus: Piano performance and collaborative accompaniment

Eligibility

Open to new, full-time freshmen or transfer students
Must be accomplished piano students selected by audition
Must maintain enrollment in MUS 258 Collaborative Piano
May serve as accompanists to choral students, in voice studio, or work with jazz or other ensembles as assigned by piano instructor

2. Select an audition time through the portal
3. Prepare audition materials (refer to audition requirements)
4. Complete audition before Music Department faculty

Audition Requirements for Piano

Two contrasting solos
Scales
Sight-reading
Auditions are approximately 20 minutes in length

Additional Requirements

Accompanist for Vocal Auditions: If auditioning as vocalist, bring your own accompanist (pre-recorded accompaniments not allowed). Music department will provide accompanist upon request with 2-week advance notice of audition music
Submit legible copies of audition music 2 weeks prior to audition date
