  • Funding Timeline

    • Approval Timeline: Funding received within 2-4 weeks after Board approval
    • Reapplication: Prior grant recipients may be invited to reapply, though prior funding does not guarantee future approval
    • Denial Appeals: Applicants will be informed in denial letter whether they can resubmit in future

    Grant Application Process

    Application Method: Online grant application only (electronic submission required)

    Eligibility Note: The Foundation only reviews grant proposals from solicited applicants. Organizations must be invited to apply.

    Required Application Materials

    Invited applicants must submit a completed online application including:

    1. Description of the organization
    2. Description of the project
    3. Discussion of how the project meets the objectives of the grant program
    4. Explanation of why the project is otherwise important
    5. Detailed project budget
    6. Copy of organization's most recently completed audited financial statement (no more than two years old)
    7. Copy of organization's unaudited financial statement for the current fiscal year
    8. Copy of organization's budget for the current fiscal year

    Required Proposal Information

    The grant proposal must:

    • Be dated
    • Show the name of the organization
    • Include the organization's address and contact person
    • Contain the amount of the grant request
    • Specify that the grant is requested from the "Albert and Elaine Borchard Foundation"

    Submission Deadlines
